Building a modern-day replica of the Great Pyramid of Giza would take five years and around 5 billion dollars to build. Even with access to as many stone-carrying vehicles, cranes and helicopters as required, it would still take 1,500 to 2,000 workers around five years to replicate the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Depending on the manner to which we do it with modern technology, and pay rates, etc... It would be hard to estimate until you learn specifically how we would do it (materials, tools, equipment, workforce, etc...).

Interesting... Can't imagine the amount of effort required to first carve those stones and then transfer them over to their desired location.

I can see a project like this being initiated in Dubai somewhere. While costs might be astronomical, it would attract tourists for centuries.
